When and How We Index

It can be beneficial for us to index your news website
We enjoy the great journalism the media provide and wouldn't want to do anything to negatively affect it.

Our clients don't subscribe to every newspaper in the state. Because of this, they don't know what they're missing.

We give them the title of the page and a link to your site. You may see a sample report at www.kansasclips.com/sample.html. Our clients then go to your site to read the news stories. If you sell advertising on your website, we can help increase the number of pageviews for your site.

If you charge for access to your archives, more people who are likely to be interested in your stories will find out about them. If they are aware of them, they are more likely to want access to it after it is in your archives.

How and when we index your site
We strive to index your site in a manner that will not effect a single user of your site. Some web crawlers can overwhelm a site by indexing it too quickly, during hours of peak usage, and repetitively indexing every page of your site and downloading all of the content, including the images. We try to be careful to index when it is appropriate, try not to index archives, do not download the images, and do not store a cached copy of the pages anywhere.
